Lord Van bloot… ahh yes the second in command of the UnderWorld, and possibly the fiercest of the big four. Having great courage, freakishly high power and speed, the earth element, a nasty ability, and a location tailored specifically for Van Bloot means that this creature is trouble in its purest form. The first thing anyone will notice about Bloot is his freakishly high power rating, based at 115 its one of the strongest power ratings in all of Perim (matched only by Grook). His speed is also a vicious weapon of his, not to mention his ability to use vinesnare to further weaken his opponent’s speed. Van bloot is possibly the best Disciplineer in the entire game, mastering 3 out of the four disciplines, only lacking in wisdom.
Defeating Van bloot
Van Bloot is probably the hardest of the big four to defeat, since he defeats Chaor in power, possibly even matching him in courage, besting him in speed, and countering his fire attacks with bloot’s own earth strikes. Bloot easily out disciplines Heptadd, yet falls short of doing so to Maxxor. Thusly the best card to face Van bloot is a Maxxor with high courage, allowing you to attack though courage and wisdom challenging attacks (ala, telekinetic bolt). Likewise to Chaor its best to reduce Bloot’s discipline, trap him that way and take him down.
Cards such as riptide, lightning burst, vine snare, and degenervate are all excellent choices to use when facing a Van Bloot. Also cards with particularly high courage and wisdom fare well in dealing damage to it (tartarek and Maxxor come to mind). And as always elementelists such as Magmon or Blugon work wonders with the right attack and location cards.

If i buy a booster box (24 boosters, all sealed up), am i supposed to get every card, or is it again random? I won’t pay for it if it means i might not get any of the big bad four. I know odds would be increased, but for that kind of money (and a whole lotta useless cards), i won’t buy if i don’t have 100% chances at getting a Bloot…
No, you get a randomized set of boosters. Speaking from experience, you end you getting just about all commons and uncommons, about half of the rares, and a good handful (about… 10 or so) supers, and maybe one or two ultras from a booster pack. So to effectively get every card in a set, you would have to buy at least two booster boxes, than trade for the few cards that eluded you.
Dang it…in a way, it sounds good…what i hate is that i pretty much have all the commons and uncommons from Dawn of Perim Secrets…all i get are doubles now, and it’s quite annoying to get all the same crappy cards over and over again trying to get a Bloot…the Super i got yesterday though will probably be worth a lot once 6 on 6 comes out…can’t remember the name, but he’s the one (Danian) whose ability is when this creatures ends up in the discard pile, every mandiblor in the discard pile still counts as a mandiblor for bonuses…I tell ya, once 6 on 6 is out, there are going to be much more Danian decks, as Hive will be far more effective…

I’m wondering, the stats differ on each card, so i got my van bloot in a a starter underworld deck. His stats always seem to be lower than the other van bloots i face (base stats). Is it because i got it in a starter deck, or is it completely random?

magmon can be sort of dangerous but the only way to defeat an intermidiate creature like magmon is just relying on it’s recklessness and some powerful attacks like torrent of flame with a fire creature like maxxor equipped by liquilizer P.S.: it’s important to have a creature with scanned energy more than magmon’s one so you can survive if you are relying on it’s weakness point (recklessness) . or having a creature like heptadd so you will just make a damage with the powerful attacks and leave the remaining energy on it’s recklessness so that you can defeat magmon from 2-4 turns if don’t you will be in a big danger .
overworld:overworld is a very cool tribe iit really counts on it’s teamwork they really loves to help each other and their goal is to find the cothica cause all they want is to live in peace especially maxxor a brave leader and master which loves all of his companians they even have to much battlegears almost all the overworlders except some like slurhk and believe me if you were an overworlder you’ll see perim on it’s real picture and teh best three creatures from overworld are: maxxor heptadd and cromaxx. and you know except that their disciplines are not that you call it off the hook but really from inside you will love the creatures and as an advice for each player never ever betray teh tribe you will have or had before even if they were really really weak cause like this you’ll be a shredder
To maxxor (yousef) : Although i didn’t get much of what you were trying to say, I find Magmon quite easy to defeat, and quite easy to lose when i use him. I loathe recklessness, and gloat when i face a “reckless creature” user. LOL

dude, maxxor is the best card in the game, and gronmor is the beset super in the game. ive killed bloots and chaors so many times they get boring, and danians are terrible, the only good one is drazz.

Danians aren’t that bad. Plenty of them have good stats and elements, and there are plenty of creatures, mugics, and battlegear that can either activate hive or greatly boost it. Plus, plenty of creatures are coming out with abilities that don’t need hive, and if you look at the true strength of the Danians and look at all their cards, you’ll find plenty of uses that put them up with any tribe.

Underworlds are still awesome, and their best update was with Bladez and Kha’rall husk armour, brimflame, and lyssta, a bit. Brimflame and Bladez work better because they still have fire, and lyssta is a pretty good ultra, though not to the level of bloot or chaor. the underworlds were the best before, and they got a bit of an upgrade to keep them on top
Overworlds got gronmor, which is one of the best creatures out there. Give it a torrent krinth or a destructozooka, and you’re set. Maxxor and Heptadd, in my opinion are still way better, but Gronmor is up there in the must have if you want to contend with the best. Frafdo the hero kicks curb in one on one, and again with a destructozooka (I love that gear) it’s amazing. Putting it in the back makes it indestructible, so Frafdo is awesome, Tangath toborn in training is awesome too, with good stats, and 3 elements, as well as high energy, although, I’d stick with gronmor. Trimdaal is an amazing card to use, and lastly there’s tartarek psi. Not a must have, like gronmor or frafdo, because it’s like maxxor, except worse, but an amazing card to have in a deck. Put that with your elementalists like iparu, craw. Stick in a Lomma to control your opponent’s attacks, and with a Maxxor, they’re dead.
Overworlds are amazing, and probably the best.
Mipedians got so much better. With Blaz, you could dominate, but kill the conjurers and they’re dead. And invisibility wasn’t much…until now. Now you got not just Kolmo and Mudeenu to dish out high damage, Sirri, Maliph, Bivike, Owayki, Mizkio, have high energy, multiple elements, and have good stats. Mipedians have become a real threat…
Danians got a lot better from before, most got water 5 or earth 5. Good for the Danian players, not so good for the rest of us. They always had awesome effects, and were good mugicians. This just made them better. However, they’re still not good enough to compete with the rest. Some good fighters are Drazz, Lendai, and Katharaz, but that’s it, and a Chaor, Mudeenu, or Maxxor could tear through them. They’re a lot better, and are starting to contend, but are still the worst tribe out there.
The point is that MI strengthened all of the tribes, but in the danian and a bit of overworlders, they completely revamped them. To build a good Mipedian warbeast army, you still need a blaz, and preferably a bylkian. If you want invisibility, maliph and owayki, and put in your prince mudeenu and kolmo, and it has a chance against the best. They got better in terms of invisibility, but no one in would put kileron over blaz, so I think that their warbeasts stayed the same. An underworld has to have a chaor, or another dop ultra or super rare. With danians, you don’t need zenith updates, just play lendai, uholdan, drazz, and you’ve built a strong army. You can still and you should use illexia or kolmo assimilated, but you have the bulk of the good danians in MI. Overworlds you can stick with your dawn of perims, like maxxor and heptadd and craw, and that’s good. You can make an elementalist army with iparu, craw and heptadd, you can make a pure power army with maxxor, lomma, heptadd. Or you can have a bunch of healers, put maxxor up front and pound the crap out of everyone. Now, you have gronmor and frafdo the hero. You can make an army of gronmor, trimdaal, tangath toborn in training, tartarek psi, accato, and put a frafdo in the back, and that will definitely make you look good. Or you can combine it with maxxor and heptadd, put in elementalist pauldrons, and they’re dead for sure. So MI boosted all tribes, and the overworlds and danians got the best of it.
In the next pack, Turn of the Tide, Van Bloot is back under M’arrillian control and he looks even more badass!
