Invisibility is one of the most unique abilities in Chaotic, inherently in the Mipedian tribe (save for Lord Van bloot who gains it while in Gothos tower) it allows a creature to gain an upper hand quickly in a battle by either allowing the creature to attack first or deal extra damage, both of which are very strong abilities that could easily turn the tide of a battle quickly in their favor. However such a great ability is not without flaws, the best 5 of which we will list in todays Top5s.
Number 5: Crystal Cave
If you were to be using a deck composed of creatures with high speed its always beneficial to invest in a few crystal cave locations for your deck to migitate damage as well as providing a very nice counter to Invisibility. Since the Crystal caves reduces all damage on the first strike of the creature with the lowest speed to 0 (with most Mipedians having only average speed) it basically means that you reduce their attack AND their invisibility: strike down to 0 effectively countering Invisibility. If they have Invisibility: surprise they end up wasting their first turn anyhow, allowing you to slowly pick them off. Overall a great card to have in a deck, especially since it also works well against anything else. The only real downside is that its possible for the Crystal caves to backfire if an opponent is wielding a mowercycle.
Number 4: Spectral Viewers
The Spectral viewer is easily the simplest way to rid an opponent of their Invisibility. Unlike everything else on this list, its the only card that can be used over and over again as long as it or the creature wielding it isn’t destroyed. Though because of this fact it also becomes a weakness since it must be equipped to a creature meaning that the creature cannot use any other battlegear and is overall less useful than it normally can be. Personally the only reason i would include this in my deck is if I know for a fact that I’ll be facing a Mipedian deck, otherwise it may hamper me more than it’ll help. it is notable however that the Spectral viewers become more useful in larger battles as 1) you’ll most likely have to multi tribe, meaning that the chances of facing a Mipedian creature is increased and 2) you’ll have more creatures in your army so that its easier to specialize some creatures in your army for specific tasks (in this case, dispatching Mipedians).
Number: Other Mipedians
One of the easiest ways to counter Invisibility is by rusing your own Mipedians, the rules state that a creature with invisibility is immune to all invisibility effects. Meaning that when two Mipedian armies face each other their invisibility effects cancel each other out. Note that you must have a Mipedian with Invisibility for this to work so cards such as Tianne or Ubliqun won’t work. Lastly this also applies to Van bloot if the fight is in Gothos tower, as Van bloot gains Invisibility there he is also invulnerable to Invisibility effects. Overall a very good and safe way to counter the effects of Invisibility without totally crippling yourself.
Number 2: Fanfare of the Vanishing mugic
Some people like keeping Tianne or Sobtek in their army to explode for lots o f damage but the Mipedian muges also have another great use, by activating Fanfare of the Vanisehing on one of their allies they bestow the powers of Invisibility to another creature and since creatures with Invisibility are immune to other Invisibility effects, that creature becomes immune to Invisibility effects. Not only is this strategy useful for countering Invisibility but it also provides extra damage output in a normal game meaning that its profitable to always have this in your hand if your using a creature that can cast mipedian mugic.
Number 1: Trills of Diminuation
Trills of Diminuation is a Mipedian mugic (seems like a lot of great mipedian counters comes from their own tribe) that takes away all abilities from an opposing creature. This means that special abilities, intimidate, support, and invisibility are all nullified. Trills our number 1 because it not only negates invisibility but also every other ability an opposing creature may have. Lastly Trills is common to boot so getting your hands on one is fairly easy (I usually get 1 in every 2 boosters I open) and overall a great counter for Invisibility with its only downside is that it must be cast by a mipedian (or heptadd) creature.

What about Song of Truesight? It’s generic so it can be used by any tribe, anf it stops the invisibility effectively.
I considered Song of Truesight, but I eventually removed it from the list (its #6) simply because it can only be used to counter invisibility and it can only be used once. While Fanfare of the vanishing and Trills of diminution can be used for other things AND counter invisibility.
You can only have so many mugic cards in a battle so it is better to get mugics that can multitask
Yes, I tell you trills of diminution rocks, because you can use it on yourself when your warbeast has like 25 recklessness and nothing else, that recklessness disappears without a conjurer (or however you spell it).
(PS:) Blazvatan Rules!!!!!!!!!!!
and rules even better with this mugic!!!!!!!!!!
