A lot of things have been happening in Chaotic as of late, sadly most of it comprises of delays. The beta has been delayed yet again (they didn’t even give us a date, which is smart since they’d probably delay it again…), Zenith has been delayed as well now to an April date…., lastly all the updates that were to occur on the March 19th upate (reduced requirements so more people can play and a lobby chat) were delayed as well… I’m beginning to wonder what the Chaotic team is doing every week, I know its still in beta and everything, but the lack of updates and constant delays of everything is really beginning to peeve me, and I’m sure it’ll dramatically decrease the amount of people playing Chaotic.
However there was some good news from Teia’s megaroar, firstly is the release date of Prima’s Chaotic strategy guide (rumored to contain a Raimusa card) and information about a lot of the updates first seen in the “coming soon” section, including draccoins, an unlocking feature (finally..), private trades, battledromes, and 6v6 sooner than expected. Overall I was deeply disappointed about the delay of Zenith, especially because they told us after the release was supposed to occur.
Lastly while I was surfing around TCG player, under Chaotic’s expansion section, I discovered a new expansion that is planned for Chaotic called Silent Sands, the article sates:

Release Date: 5/15/2008
Overview: Silent Sands expansion will add 100 new cards to the game and open up countless new deck possibilities. The Silent Sands Booster set will include 35 new Creatures, 30 new Attacks, 15 new Mugic cards, 10 new Locations, and 10 new Battlegear cards.
Pretty exciting stuff eh? I’m assuming that this expansion is for the Mipedians, with that all tribes would be fully represented (with Dawn of Perim focusing on OW and UW, and Zenith of Danians). I only hope that they release it by May, though knowing Chaotic it’ll probably be released in the summer time…
