Hi everyone, I am sorry I haven’t been able to keep my promise on tons of articles, between school and computer problems I couldn’t write anything. So I would like to get back on track. I still haven’t found something for my underworld deck that is of real use so I won’t waste your time with that. I have however downloaded the chaotic pad on my new computer and I have a good 3v3 strategy for overworld users. This army has only lost 2 matches, and that is because one guy was packing ultras and to tell the truth a really great army, and the other one was based on the worst nightmare for this deck. Here’s the line up:
Heptadd: Dragon Pulse
Tartarek: Riverland Star
Lomma: Dragon Pulse
We want Tartarek and Heptadd up front with Lomma in back, this accomplishes the feat of forcing your opponent to fight Lomma if they attack and for you to move her to a defensive stance when it is your opponents attack. Next Mugic, I usually use Strain of the tide, Song of Resurgence and melody of Mirage. Strain is also easily with another Song of Resurgence. I just use it as a clean-up and it also saves Tartarek’s mugic counter for his effect. Next locations:
2 Riverlands
2 Everrain
2 Cordac Falls
1 Kiru City
1 Stone Pillar
These last two are just me but I use Vidav’s Refectorium
Attacks:
1 Plasma Arrow
1 Gear Grind
1 Flash Kick
1 Terror-Fying Tackle
2 Hydro Balls
2 Squeeze Play
2 Rustoxic
2 Rip Tide
2 Shadow Strike
2 Daunting Bravery

Now this is my personal 3v3 deck so a lot of it has to do with just playing for fun but it works pretty well in competative play. Plus other than Heptadd it is pretty easy to build. Some comments though, I reccomend getting a Tartarek with good energy, high courage and good wisdom as you want that for hydro balls. Plus the high wisdom helps you with getting the first attack on most locations. The riverland star is very optional as well. I usually run this but I have switched it out for Torrent of Krinth and Ring of Na’arin. Some tips on playing this or some of its variants are the fact that it tries to cover all of the creatures you have. I am working on something with this for a support combo, so if you have any ideas please let me know. It also strengthens Heptadd, in most armies in which he is in the frontal ranks he is usually the weak spot. Here he can hold his own. This is all I can think of now for this but if you have comments, suggestions or ideas let me know.
P.S. The worst nightmare for this deck is a courage based deck, obviously. The one I faced had a blasted Lanker in the back and two Saand up front with like maxed courage. The army was also packing 2 Armament Adagio and a Melody of Mirage. Plus 2 Mugician’s Lyre, and a stone mail which was efectivly used to stop Heptadd from casting melody of mirage when I needed to. sigh.
Great review especially since i love using overworlders. I usually dont play 3vs3 but when i do i will Keep this deck in mind. One question though how well do you think iparu would work in place of heptadd?
Can you sacrifice mugic counters from creatures that are not in combat to activate mugic, even if two creatures are fighting? I need to know this mostly due to my friends incompetence

this is joker, yes the real one, I wnated to answer Shadow’s question real quick so this will be the only time I leave a comment without logging in. I really never thought about Iparu. Really I think if you put him in you’d have to reformat just about everything. When I was toying around with Iparu I based the deck off of power challenges. And I equipped Iparu with E pauldrons, but still I was running Heptadd in the back so really in this format Iparu wouldn’t work to well.

This is to kerberosx or joker13 are you sure you can sacrifice mugic counters from other creatures. for example lets say Blugon and dardemus are battling and you have a vidav in the back can you get rid of one of its mugic counters to play song of resurgence for example
Yeah dude, i’m positive. I’ve done it a million times in master rules. Plus it is even stated in the rule book. The only thing you can’t do is sacrifice a mugic counter from vidav (for example) to pay for Tangath’s effect.

The new collectible tins are out, and I’m wondering which promo cards are at which stores. I know the UWer is at Best Buy, and I’m pretty sure the OWer is at Target, but I’m wondering where the Danian and Mipedian are.

Thanks, but I doubt it. They didn’t include any invasion packs. The exclusive tin’s color is black, though, matching the M’arilians. There might still be hope.

JJ you cant get the ultra rare M’arillians but you can get the big 4 plus one of my friends got a Queen Illexia in one and i have heard some people say you can get Iparu but i dont know how true the last one is hope this helps
Shadow, I would have to say that Bloot is my favorite. I don’t have one but I love him. Coming in a close second is Heptadd.
P.S. I wouldn’t just assume you would lose, I have never battled you so I don’t know what to expect. I would assume that you’d give me a run for my money.

Looks pretty good. It has a nice flow, and the way you set up your attack deck makes for a good amount of consistent damage. I’d say 8/10.
P.S. This might sound stupid but is there a 10v10 for chaotic pad that’s operational?

cool. I just want to comment on my rating too, just so you know. My best rating that I ever give is 8/10, I leave a score of one for improvement of locations because there are always new locations that you can slide in. And I have never given a 10/10. To get a 10/10 from me the army has to be perfect, unbreakable in every manner and able to maximize damage on every attack.
P.S. Give me some time to work on a new army, I’m in a slump. I think I need a few new cards……. Any how I am working on a 10v10 overworld variant for you. I don’t know how much I can improve on yours though. But any way give me some time and you and I can play a few matches. :D
So thanks for rating my deck and my attacks would remain the same no matter how big of a battle we would have. I would probably remove intress, 1 crawsectus,Kalt, and 1 ikkatosh. I would remove both hymn of the elements, empowering serenade and echoes of empty hands

Its good I would give it a 7 out of 10 because you have a lot of 0bp attacks so you probably wouldnt be able to do a good consitent amount of high damage
Hey Joker I tried out my new M’arrilian Deck last night and yes it was full of ow. anyway i was doing 25 damage with stuff like quick exit and i used one of my M’arrilians ability to destroy his stats. The best part is I done 75 damage in one attack. It was awesome but he forfieted after his second creature died. so do you use M’arrilians?
My Maxxor, heptadd army pwns…i control the tide with lomma, thats what i love about it
and, yea, that army has awesome creatures, and good gear, but not enough good attacks, sure, you can dish out 50 damage with allmageddon, but after that, you can’t do much, but i’d give it an 8.5 or a 9/10
Yes shadow. I use Mirallians ocassionally. It’sgood you have been doing well tih this deck. I still have been in a bit of a slump but still this one works well.

Yep, there is a way. In the box in the top right corner of the screen there is a little trophy button. All you have to do is hit that and then you can view highest overall, most wins that day, most losses that day, same elo as you and other stuff.

I’m not sure, if Iparu works for you than you might not want to. If you hev two Iparus you might want to think about it but still, I don’t like to advise people on trades because I know what I would do with my style of play not what others would do.
Well I traded off my enre hep for it which works for the fact that i almost never use mepedians. I cant wait to try it out in an actual battle
The Tangath has 70 health which seems to be the max for Tangath in Training. Also I battled it against my Iparu and Iparu got destroyed. Plus I know alot of gantrax users so this card will literally destroy them. You should probably expect to battle him whenever we battle

Not good man, I still am in a slump, and my new constructions don’t seem to work well. I just need something new to play around with, I might be getting Bloot soon but I don’t want to jinx it. So to sum it up its not good……..:(

Maybe you should use your old deck just add in some more advanced creatures and attacks. This same thing happened to my overworld deck it use to be unstoppable but was almost never updated and now that it is updated it is virtually unstoppable. My best advice is just use maxxor :0

Hey Shadow, I haven’t had internet, because of snow taking out lines, but I’m back on now for a few days. Not much is new with me. I have been working on some protos for a decent deck and I’m technically out of my slump but still I’m not winning like I want to. And Shadow I have a question, do you think it’s time for a new post or wait, and anyone else that wants to comment on a new post can. I want to hear your responses.
Dude i know last year where i live we had a crazy snow storm and didnt have power for the longest period of time but i think that you should make a new post with something that almost nobody does M’arrilian’s and how to use them effectively

Cool thanks. Me and three of my friends done something crazy this morning we had a four way free for all but i lost my friends Bloot had fun crushing us. In my defense the only reason Tangath died was because they played some crazy attack that made it to where i couldnt heal my tangath toborn which now i have to get no matter what so have you ever had any awesome crazy battles.
Joker how does defender work? Do you switch places with the creature in combat or what and can you use it only once per turn
O.K. when a creature with defender is adjacent to a creature being attacked, defender makes the creature with defender switch places at the begining of combat, wheather you like it or not. So it is a double egded sword.
Also to every one, I am going to write an article, most likely tonight. And if it is o.k. with kerberos, I would like to handle the review on rise of the oligrich, or rise of the ugly as I like to call it.
