I’m so Happy that All of the authors came back, execpt FlamekinLord… Anyways This time I’m Reveiw the Mipedians and the M’arrilians. And WOO HOO I GET MY BOX OF TOTT TOMORROW!
Mipedian
Aliav

This guy is a pretty sweet conjuror, I recently got my hands on him he is awesome to use with creatures like Blazvatan and Kileron to make them even more indestructable! The to boot he not bad on offense either, both Mipedian staple elements and Good SPD CRG and NRG, this guy can put up a good fight, which is unusual for a conjuror.
Gaffat-ra

I still need to get my hands on this guy, but my box of TotT comes in tommorrow, so you will hear all about it then. Moving on Gaffat-Ra is a pretty sweet deck if you combine warbeasts with creatures such as Iflar and Mudeenu, He can deflect all no attack damage to him for a short while, un fortunatly, you can’t control when it activates, so watch out for that. Also note that it can be the enemies royals too, for it doesn’t state that it has to be yours.
Iflar, The Crown Prince

So with this guy does that mean there is a king? or does he just have to take a bride?? We will have to wait and see! Anyways this guy is a lot like Mudeenu! I wonder why? :P Excet a LOT better, Though with Untargetable, he can’t be the the target of SPECIFIED mugics and abilities. This means something along the lines of Defender’s Song that states “Creatures you control…” This means he will gain defeder from that.
Na-inna, Rebel of the Rao’pa Sahkk

Her name is is a mouthful! Her ability works well with… herself! But she unfortunatly Unique which means thats a scratch on the drawing board. But if you can get a creature, besides Na-inna, that can move counters off of creatures and you set with an Unlimited supply of mugic for Mipedians! *COUGH* WARRIORSOFOWAKYI*COUGH*
Noaz, Mipedian Cavalerist

This guy is AWESOME! Air and swift 1 on nyour turn, that’s plain awesome, give him a Sketal Steed , or Pair him with Xelfe and Multiply him by two and you can take out his muges pretty easily now can’t you? Muahahahahaha!
Ruhban

Just another satple Warrior of the desert that will come in handy to many decks!! With Invis:Surprise and Swift 1 this Scout makes an Execelent Addition to any Mipedian team!
Yterio

Now what is going through your head right as you read hi ability? Let me change your mind about him, unless you have good thoughts about him! Now his ability seems pointless right? Wrong. Remember Tianne, a mugic and Sacrificing him dealt an oppenent 25 damage. Well with Yterio you sacrfice him and no mugic ounter required and you can stop ANY amount of damage, now use Melody of Mirage the first time ou and your oppenent go through the attack decks, remember their strongest attack and Sac Yterio when that attack re-surfaces and the need is great!
M’arrillians
Aval’Par

This is one mean looking Cheiftan! However I love his ability! I mean it’s like packing a whole bunch of Song of Shelter’s which is my FAVORITE mugic ever! So this guy is teh best for anti-mugic decks!
Dreg’ora

Part’soa’s Partner in Crime! Those two go together like PB&J! Kind of like Bladez and Kha’rall Husk! Although Dreg’ora doesn’t focus on any stat so he will have to rely on water and the shards.
Emna’ool

A lot like Fla’makin from the last set, so not much to say…
Gal’drad

Again a lot like Jus’heban from the last set, so agian not much to say… Except that he looks awesome!
Ki’bro

Not bad… He is like Xis’torq, in the matter that he is not required, but nice to have, still not as nice as Xis’torq, but still.
Part’Soa

Not at all bad, works well with Dreg’ora, like I said before, I’m REALLY glad that fluidmorphing doesn’t work with Gan’trak.
Vix’ben

Everyone’s freaking out about this guy… Why?? Yes I mean he neagtes mugic, But every time you use a mugic Vix’ben HAS to remove all of his counters, even if he can’t negate it… So why is everyone freaking out, oh and BTW Vix’ben is supposed to be Loyal to M’arrilians and Minions.
First comment, nice review kerb. I don’t agree about the Vix’ Ben review, but I agree with you on everything else.
Well people did the EXACT same thing with Aa’une, but he wasn’t all high and mighty either!
That’s a cheap shot, lol, but Vix’Ben is just one of those creatures that really shouldn’t be underestimated. But it’s good, we have varying opinions, and this is what makes us good players. I’l agree that he’s not what a lot of people make him out to be, but with a proper format, he could be worked in for support. P.S. let me know on everything you think about your ToT box. I’m thinking of getting one soon, so I want to know how good the packs are ^_^.
i love ailavs flavor text :D
I’m not underestimating, he is awesome, it’s just everyone is overestimating, like you said. Also I plan on reporting on the box, so you guys will be able to see a lot of what I got!
Yes Aliav’s flavour is awesome, but Yterio’s is very deep…
I have a Mipedian army with both Ailav and Gaffat-Ra
1-2-3
4-5
6
1 Drimesse with Ravita Flower
2 Ailav with Vlaric Shard
3 Ranun with Ravita Flower
4 Glost with Torweqq
5 Gaffat-Ra with Torweeq
6 Appelai with Heptadd’s Crown
Gaffat-Ra keeps Appelai safe from Mandiblors returning with Talisman or Kannen or creatures with Swift and Range. With Crown and a couple Hymn of the Elements he can dish plenty of damage with the double element attacks meant for Glost.
Ailav with his 55 energy and twin elements can take out his share of creatures and if killed he fuels Glost, he’s just too good here.
Nice! I like were your going with that!
I did an army similar to that but i wanted my opponent to take out my conjurers so Glost could destroy everyone it worked too
Here’s the rest if you’re curious:
Mugic:
2 Melody of Mirage
2 Symphony of the Guard (with 10 earth and wind attacks this new Mugic is a Godsend)
2 Hymn of the Elements
Locations:
2 Catacombs of the Conjurors
2 Mipedian Oasis
1 Royal Midepian Academy of Melee Arts
1 The Hunter’s Perimiter
1 Sands of the Unseen
2 Storm Tunnel
1 Gloom-mire Night
Attacks:
1 Whirling Wind 3BP
2 Slowsand 4BP
2 Freeze Flash 4BP
2 Thunder Shout 4BP
2 Blind Fury 2BP
2 Marksman’s Preparation 2BP
1 Sandstrike 1BP
2 Sediment stromshield 0BP
2 Petrifying Power 0BP
2 Poison Steam 0BP
2 Velocitrap 0BP
The new Conjuror, Warbeast and Mugic are too good a combination. I haven’t benched Prince Mudeenu and Kolmo in a long while but the trio above is just too strong when you add Glost to the mix.
I was wondering which creatures support more then two elements. I only know of 2
Gronmor with 3 and Heptadd with all 4. I know many have two elements. However i can’t seem to find any other creatures with 3 or more except these unless I’m missing something.
Auuuugh! So help me, I’m starting to get drawn in by the m’arillians! They look so fun to use in a match! Also I am yet to win a match against a m’arillian army D: (well I haven’t finished one yet… I could have won though >.>) Mipedians and M’arillians are the cards I’m most intrigued by, and it’s narrowed down between them which tribe I will use next…The new set only made it more tempting for each! :D
The new Tangath Toborn has 3 and so does Nimmei and you can give elementilists all elemants with Elemental Pualdrons, Those are good cards to back your creatures up with Ricco
Off the top of my head: Tangath Toborn in trainning and Nimmei
LOLZ Mandible has been BW! HAH! Serves you right for infecting me!
Anyways!
Thanks Chaos3691, It took me a while to choose the right locations, but you know what they say “location, location, location” :)
Mandible Muge: you think you have it bad, I have 4 armies built and 2 others I can make at a moments notice. 1 for each main tribe, 1 M’arrillian I have yet to finish and a second Overwolder army.
o.o Why make a second overworld? Make a second danian! :D! *throws parasite on you*
I have to say…Vix’ben seems like a letdown to me too. Looks like the majority of the time his ability will hinder you rather than help you… If I was up against an army using him, I would just use my mugic at the intervals in which it doesn’t matter if my mugic doesn’t work. I mean, he essentially turns my mugic into “Remove all counters from target fluidmorpher” and most decks only run one or two morphers so it would probably end up being vix’ben anyway. If I could have all of my mugic cards do that, I’d be happy!
Although I guess, most mugic only costs 1 MC so he can dispel anything really… But get this: What if you use your mugic in succession? He has 5 counters, you use a mugic for one, counters are removed mugic is undone. In the next turn or so, only one more water attack has been played so he only has one more MC. I play another mugic, he loses the MC and the mugic goes on anyway. In another turn or so, the same thing happens. In an army with 6 or 10 (or 105! xD Jk) mugic cards, it seems to cripple the m’arillian fluidmorph mechanic. Anyway, I don’t know much about M’arillians so I won’t judge, but he doesn’t seem the best to me. Still, I wouldn’t underestimate him either, since he can exhaust your mugic however you play, at the cost of exhausting his own.
Vix’ben is either very good or very bad, I run two Armament Adagio and Hive Unsung in my Danian deck. The first two do their thing if they’re negated or not and Hive Unsung can remove all his Mugicians multiple times if you pay a Mugician to return it to your hand (I think).
But against, let’s say an Overwolder army, it might do well since most Mugics there require 1 Mugician to cast. In a mirror match against M’arrillians it would suck since they gain the same amount of counters with their own Fluidmorpher, Vix’ben will almost never have MORE counters then the M’arrillian caster. It could really cripple an Uderwolder deck late in the game when a Song of Revival could turn the tide.
But really he’s only a problem if you can’t count, if you see he’s about to have more Mugicians then the mugic you know you’ll need soon just cast it.
Vix’ben will be the biggest problem for players who save there mugic for the end of a battle or for the right moment to cast there mugic, I know he will be a pain for any of my decks haha
Is Earth to kaz a real episode
Have you guys heard ofthe new pack forged unity. If you guys know any of the cards could you please post it.
