This is my first post as a CInsider author! I am incredibly happy to join the now larger crew of CInsider and I hope to give you some different veiws of Chaotic (No offense Pocketkoi!).  I want to thank Pocketkoi too for accepting me as an author for his popular blog!

To kick things off I’m going to talk a bit about the new warbeasts in the thrid installment of the Chaotic TCG, Silent Sands.  On with the Warbeasts! (At the end of each Creature i will put some ratings on Flexibility, how many different options this creature has in terms of combinations with other creatures, individuality,how well they do on their own, overall usefulness,just how awesome they are and average rating, they rough average of that creature!)

I am very happy to finally announce the end of our month long contest. It may be a day (or two… late) but I have read, evaluated, and comparing all of the entries , then whittled the entries down to a total of 5 new authors. So I congratulate the following five new members, their articles will be posted below them, and to all the ones who didn’t make it (or didn’t apply) fret not, since I will be holding another author contest in the foreseeable future.

Chaotic seeking new authors: coming to an end!

Good morning to everyone, I’d just like to say that there is only 3 days left to apply as a Chaotic author to CInsider! So if you still wish to become an author yet haven’t sent me an article (send to Pocketkoi@hotmail.com) than you have 3 days left, to everyone else who did, good luck!

The new authors will be posted on July 1st… or maybe 2nt depending on how lazy I am.

Silent Sand’s Warbeasts

The Chaotic update last week upgraded the collection and the army sections of the Chaotic website. But on top of that an entire list of cards from Silent Sands has also been released! This means that we can all see the new cards, come up with new strategies, view the awesome art, and marvel at all the new options that they give us, before the cards even come out! Anyhow even though all these amazing cards have been shown, the coolest mechanic is without a doubt the Warbeasts from the mipedian tribe.

Zenith Review 3: UnderWorld

Greetings everyone, it has been quite a while since an actual meaningful post has been put up, anyhow this evening is none other than the 3rd review of Zenith.. somewhat late because Silent Sands is out in about a week… heh. yah… Anyhow lets get off!  Overall the UW is shaping up to be a very interesting and unique tribe, however… the creatures in this set seem to be lacking. Most if not all of the creatures seem waay too specialized in one strategy that they just can’t be played consistently, but the UW does gain a lot of new and interesting mugix which is a really nice addition.  to a competitive stature. Not to mention that a lot of the creatures have very annoying ability costs. I prefer the Dawn of Perim UW to these personally, but their still a nice contribution, and their are a few gems in here.

CInsider seeking new authors!

Hello everyone it has been a LONG time! So sorry to have not been updating the site for so long… but Finals month will do that heh…

Anyhow considering that summer is coming in literally a week, I thought it would be best to increase the size of CInsider’s author base. What does that mean? Well it means that I want to add members to this blog to write their on views and strategies as well, thus you all won’t have to just listen to my opinions all the time har har.

So anyhow here is how it is going down, anyone who wishes to become an author for CInsider should submit their own article about Chaotic to Pocketkoi@hotmail.com.

This article should in some way deal with Chaotic, the card game, the website, strategies, opinions, etc. All articles will be posted on the site, with the best ones receiving an invite to become authors of CInsider (you would have your own account and be able to log onto CInsider and post your own blog posts). Anyhow the ending date is July 1st, so send in your articles and become an author!

5 tips to improve your game

A break from Zenith review this week (a new review should be up next week.. if I don’t get too lazy). Anyhow I thought it would be nice to share with you helpful tips that can really help your game as well as provide pointers in what you should do and when you should do it. Their pretty simple tips but any aspiring players who’ve just started should always keep these in mind.

Zenith review: part 2 OW and Mipedians

Good evening everyone and welcome to the second installment of the Zenith Review, this time I’ll delve into the new OW and Mipedian creatures and mugix. For each card I’ll state my personal opinion followed by ranksings in three categories individual which measure the creatures personal usefulness, practicality which represents how well a creature works in union to the rest of the deck, and flexibility which is determined by how well a creature can do in many different tasks or strategies.

Zenith review: part 1

As soon as I learned that Zenith had been released (I wasn’t keeping track, so the sudden update took me by surprise) I went to the collection page to check out all of the new cards. Firstly I noticed that they separated Zenith from Dawn of Perim and second that they did not nicely organize the Zenith cards according to tribe and card type… Regardless all the cards in Zenith were AMAZING, yes they were all fabulous and brilliant. Each and everyone provided a lot of flexibility to the game, something that was sorely needed considering the metagame that the big 4 created. Anyhow in this NEW series (yes.. I know I should finish a Study of Perim before I get started on another series.. but I just can’t wait!) we will go into detail on every Zenith card and every new ability that was introduced in Zenith.
